I normally don’t leave negative reviews, and I want to start by saying the food was good and the staff seemed pleasant. However, I was disappointed to discover that a 15% gratuity was added to my bill despite specifically selecting “Decline Gratuity” during checkout. Fortunately, I paid with American Express and was able to have the charge reviewed and credited, but that isn’t really the point. Customers should be able to trust that the amount they authorize is the amount they are charged. Mistakes happen, and I hope this was simply an error rather than a business practice. My reason for posting is not to attack the restaurant, but to encourage others to carefully review their receipts before leaving. A few dollars may not seem like much, but transparency and accuracy matter. I genuinely hope management looks into this and ensures customers are only charged the gratuity amounts they knowingly approve.

Be aware of this please with the waitress. When u make an order they are charging u for a “shopping bag” without notifying you. The waitress will tell you is a certain amount and is not the correct amount showing in the receipt. My husband went to this place and got some empanadas a coffee and a soda. The waitress told him the amount was $19.32 and he was surprised because he was just getting empanadas a coffee and a soda. He proceeded to ask for the receipt. When he looked at the receipt it says $17.32. The girl changed him $2 extra dollars for tip without consulting or letting the client himself give her tips. My husband told me how he saw her placing the $2 dollars into the tip box. This is insane and not right how the owners wants to charge for bags and the employees wants to still the customer as well. 😡😡😡 “Always ask for your receipts”

A 10/10. The food was so delicious, coffee was on point, service was amazing, and it brought back memories of my grandma's cooking which is something that's not easy to find and always warms my heart. Highly recommend
